Jaegar Australia's success began in 1979, when the parent company decided to specialise in the formulation of chemicals for water sanitation systems.

In the decade to follow, Jaegar came to be known as a market leader in its niche, and soon found a need to expand. In order to meet these demands, an independent company, Jaegar Australia, was established in Melbourne in 1989.

It wasn't long before an ever increasing customer base, and a constant demand for specialised cleaning and sanitation products in different industries, required Jaegar Australia to expand its operations to a national level, and concentrate on customer-specific products.

The company's reputation as Australia's 'creative formulators' quickly grew, and company policy placed a heavy emphasis on the customer's individual formulation requirements, rather than on the creation of a basic off-the-shelf line of products; distinguishing Jaegar Australia from it's competitors.
